Description:
L'Oréal partnered with microbial genomics company uBiome for a unique promotion that allowed customers to test their overall skin health on a scientific level.

Occurring at the 2019 SXSW festival, the partnership consisted of customers submitting cheek-swabs to uBiome who then analyzed the samples to make determinations of the customers' skin health as it pertained to various microbes of bacteria and micro-organisms commonly found on the skin that lead to acne and skin irritations.

Based on uBiome's results, customers were then able to make more informed choices when it came to L'Oréal beauty products.
