Description:
McDonald's partnered with Discovery for a Happy Meal program encouraging kids to engage with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

The partnership consisted of STEM-centric toys being included in McDonald's Happy Meals as part of Discovery's #Mindblown program.

The #Mindblown program by Discovery aimed to teach children about STEM subjects and principles such as light, sound, coding, space etc.

Discovery brought this program to McDonald's by introducing a line of 10 different robots to be given to McDonald's customers inside their Happy Meals.

The toys were created by Discovery's consumer products division and distributed by McDonald's. Each toy included collectible cards that featured challenges and lessons that were all integrated with content on the Happy Studios and McPlay mobile app.

The program was rolled out beginning in February 2019 and through 2020 in more than 80 participating countries.
