In celebration of 90 Years of Mickey Mouse, The Walt Disney Company partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to invite fans to "Share Your Ears" in order to help grant wishes. From November 5 until November 17, 2018, fans could take a photo showing off their “Mickey Mouse ears” – or any creative “ears” – and upload it to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. For every public post with the hashtag #ShareYourEars, Disney donated $5 to Make-A-Wish, up to $2 million to grant even more wishes. Robin Roberts kicked off the campaign during the “Mickey’s 90th Spectacular” on November 4 on ABC, where the stars turned out to celebrate Mickey with song and dance, and even took their own #ShareYourEars photos.
