Universal Pictures and Tic Tac have partnered for the theatrical release of MINIONS.  The “Minions Tic-Tac’s” have been so popular that some fans have become angry when the Minions edition tic-tacs have run out of stock in their local store.  Besides just in-store releases of the product in the US the product has been released in 20 other countries including Australia, Germany and Italy.  The release has been bolstered by social media engagement, a special website, a TV spot and an instant win game.  The instant win game featured prizes such as $50 American Express Gift cards as well as a plethora of other Minion’s merchandise.  The promotion period for the sweepstakes extended from May 1, 2015 to July 31, 2015.  

 

Minions is part of the Despicable Me franchise.
