The National Geographic Channel and Veramonte Winery partnered to promote the NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC SOCIETY. In the summer of 2006, Veramonte Wine made a charitable contribution to the NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC SOCIETY. As part of the program, Veramonte Winery received a comprehensive promotional media plan on the National Geograohic Channel. And in exchange, National Geographic Channel received retail exposure at Veramonte retailers and a chance to distribute DVD samplers of channel programming. The Veramonte spots aired June 19, 2006 through July 23, 2006 on National Geographic Channel and between June 12-18, 2006 in select Time Warner Cable Markets. The spots also aired On-Demand Service July 27-August 24, 2006.
