Description:
The National Basketball Association teamed with Puma to make the international brand an official marketing partner of the league.

The partnership allowed Puma to market NBA players in their NBA uniforms featuring their teams' logos. At the time of the partnership being announced, the two NBA players featured most prominently in Puma's marketing were Terry Rozier of the Boston Celtics and DeMarcus Cousins of the Golden State Warriors.

The collaboration promoted Puma's launch of its first basketball shoe, the Clyde Court Disrupt, as well as its second basketball shoe, the Uproar Charlotte, which was deliberately releases in conjunction with the 2019 NBA All-Star game.

This marketing partnership marked Puma's first foray back into the major basketball market after nearly two decades.
