Description:
The New York Times and Spotify partnered to entice bring potential new subscribers in an effort to grow its online readership. Beginning in February, The New York Times offered its All Access subscription as well as a one-year Spotify Premium subscription for $5 per week. The promotion only applied to U.S. residents who were not currently subscribed to either service. However, once the promotional pay period was over, users who continued their All Access subscription were able to retain their Spotify Premium membership as part of the New York Times’ normal weekly subscription cost.
