Nickelodeon and Republic Records: Kids & Family partnered for musical endeavors, starting with a first album release for the Blue’s Clues & You! movie. 

Republic Records, owned by Universal Music Group, launched its Kids & Family division Aug. 19, 2022. That division announced a new partnership to develop and distribute music with Nickelodeon.

Blue’s Big City Adventure was the first album release of the partnership, with single “On Our Way”. The album featured songs found in the Nickelodeon and Paramount+ movie Blues Big City Adventure. The central plot of the film featured Blue and Josh heading to New York City to audition for a musical. They get a little help from previous Blue’s Clues cast along the way, as both Steve and Joe make appearances, bringing everyone together in the Big Apple. The movie streamed exclusively on Paramount+ starting Nov. 18, 2022.
