20th Century Fox and McDonald's teamed up to promote the theatrical release of NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM: BATTLE OF THE SMITHSONIAN with a Happy Meal toy giveaway. Consumers received one of eight toys featuring a character from NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM: BATTLE OF THE SMITHSONIAN with the purchase of any Happy Meal. The happymeal.com website also hosted a movie-themed screen saver, wallpapers, AIM buddy icons, and coloring book pages as well as the NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM: BATTLE OF THE SMITHSONIAN Happy Meal television commercial. The promotion began May 22 and ran through June 18, 2009.
