Warner Bros. Pictures and Yahoo! partnered to launch the “Mastermind Challenge” sweepstakes, promoting the theatrical release of OCEAN’S TWELVE. From November 1 to December 10, participants who registered on the OCEAN`S TWELVE website received two questions per week that were drawn from the plot of the film. Participants who answered all twelve clues correctly using Yahoo! online tools were automatically entered into the sweepstakes drawing. The grand prize winner received a 15 day trip for two to the European locations featured in the film including Amsterdam, Paris and Rome. Three first prizes winners won a three-day trip for two to Las Vegas. Also, fifty second prizes winners each received an Ocean’s Eleven DVD. In addition to the online sweepstakes, customers could also participate in the “Mastermind Mobile Challenge” using their wireless phones on Yahoo. Customers who answered a trivia question each week were given the chance to win the grand prize flat screen TV, DVD player, Ocean’s Eleven DVD, a Samsung a670 phone from Verizon Wireless plus a $50 gift certificate redeemable at any participating Verizon store. Three first prize winners received a DVD player and Ocean’s Eleven DVD. Ten second prize winners won an OCEAN’S TWELVE CD soundtrack and a movie poster.
