In celebration of PUBG MOBILE's 3rd Anniversary in March 2021, Carl's Jr. / Hardee's (CKE) featured co-branded POP signage in participating restaurants across the US and Mexico.  Participating restaurants also provided co-branded cups to all consumers who purchased a large drink.

To drive additional awareness for the campaign among core fans of the franchise, Tencent America executed an in-game event in PUBG MOBILE to promote the partnership. In-app banners encouraged players to visit participating  locations to secure a promotional cup, and the in-game event featured themed missions that players could complete to redeem CKE-themed in-game rewards. Tencent America also supported the promotion with an influencer overlay, and both parties promoted the partnership across digital and social media channels.
