Focus Features partnered with Yelp for the theatrical release of SEEKING A FRIEND FOR THE END OF THE WORLD. Yelp offered a private screening of the film. To enter, contestants had to visit www.facebook.com/seekingafriendmovie/ or www.seekingafriendsweepstakes.com and follow the instructions to complete an online entry form. One Grand Prize winner received 1 private screening for the winner and up to 50 friends to see SEEKING A FRIEND FOR THE END OF THE FILM. Ten Second Place prize winners each received a $200 check and four movie gift certificates for select theatres. 20 Third Place prize winners each received a movie gift package which included 1 Tote bag, 1 shot glass, 1 T-shirt, 1 keychain, 1 glow stick, and 1 lip balm. The sweepstakes ran from April 30, 2012 through June 24, 2012. SEEKING A FRIEND FOR THE END OF THE WORLD released in theaters June 22, 2012.
