DreamWorks Animation teamed up with McDonald’s to promote Shrek Forever After. It kicked off with an All-Family Event featuring Chicken McNuggets, Shrek-themed glassware, a totally Shrek-ed Out Happy Meal, a limited-edition Arch Card and sweet McNuggets of Fun digital rewards. There were also four limited edition Shrek Forever After glasses featuring the characters. Each glass was available for $1.99 with any food purchase. When customers ordered a 20=piece McNuggets of Fun Pack, they’ll get their nuggets in a special box that featured Shrek ears as the handle. On the box, customers found activities and games they can play with their family. They’ll also find a McNugget of Fun digital code they can use online at McDonalds.com/Shrek games and redeem a digital reward. The promotion ran from May 14, 2010 to June 24, 2010.
