Warner Bros. Pictures partnered with Chuck E. Cheese’s to promote the theatrical release of SMALLFOOT. The promotion included a movie-themed in-store photo contest. Customers submitted a photo or video of the themselves with their child(ren) that included the SMALLFOOT floor decal at Chuck E. Cheese’s locations. Entries were judged based on originality, kids' fun factor and were submitted via CEC’s Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter using hashtags #Smallfoot, #AllYouCanPlayVIP and #Contest. The winner was chosen by three judges, and the Grand Prize was one VIP Play Band with up to 375 game plays per week for a calendar year from date of award, which was automatically loaded to the VIP Play Band. The promotion ran from September 10 - October 14, 2018, and the winner was chosen October 20, 2018.
