Description:

Target partnered with Instagram to become the first mass retailer to sell products through Instagram Checkout.

The partnership consisted of Target introducing shoppable post to its @Target and @TargetStyle accounts on Instagram. These shoppable posts were marked with a bag icon and tapping these products allowed users to visit a checkout page within Instagram. 

Instagram stored payment and delivery information so that shoppers would be able to complete further purchases from Target's accounts' with just two taps.
