Universal Music Group along with Big Machine Records partnered with Keds for the release of TAYLOR SWIFT`S new album, RED. Keds hosted an online sweepstakes where contestants could enter to win a pair of red Keds with the word "red" imprinted on the sides. To enter, contestants had to visit the Keds Facebook page and share their stories of strength along with an entry form. The sweepstakes aimed to create a global community of brave girls who inspire and motivate each other and was supported by scholarship opportunities, social media initiatives, video content, and limited edition products. The Gran Prize included one pair of limited edition Champion Shoes autographed by TAYLOR SWIFT and 377 Runner Up winners received one pair of Keds Core Champion Shoes. The sweepstakes ran from October 11, 2012 through November 8, 2012. Additionally, the shoes could have been purchased at participating Nordstrom. com, TaylorSwift.com, Keds.com and Journeys.com. TAYLOR SWIFT`S album RED released in stores October 22, 2012.
