Universal Pictures and Budweiser partnered to promote the theatrical release of THE BREAK-UP. Included in the partnership was a dedicated website titled `Budweiser presents National Break-Up Day, June 2nd.` The website included a countdown to Break-Up day (also a countdown to the movie) and break-up themed features such as compatibility test, break-up lines, break-up checklist and a feature to cut up digital photos called `photochop.`
