The partnership consisted of Universal collaborating with Vudu for a virtual watch party of THE CROODS: A NEW AGE. The film was screened with Fandango's Nikki Novak hosting a pre-show event that was accessible online. This event included interviews with the director as well as special guests and a musical performance by Nandi Bushell.

Fans could watch the event from the safety of their homes while engaging with the festivities online using the hashtag #TheCroodsWatchParty. To watch the party, viewers RSVPed online and were able to participate with activities such as creating a personalized red carpet experience using a digital activity kit.
