20th Century Fox partnered with Pandora to promote the theatrical release of THE DARKEST MINDS in a promotion that was exclusive to Snapchat users. The promotion consisted of a takeover of the Premium Access feature which allowed Pandora access to any Snapchat user who watched "The Darkest Minds" trailer. Users who received a Pandora song card on July 11 to swipe up to listen on-demand after watching a 15-second video trailer from Fox. While listening to a song, Pandora users with the latest version of the app were able to tap "Share on Snapchat" to send a song in a direct message to friends or in their Story. Those on the receiving end could then access the shared song and view unique cards showing the song's album art in front of an animated background.
