20th Century Fox Filmed Entertainment partnered with Iconic TV for the theatrical release of THE INTERNSHIP. Iconic TV in part with Jay Z hosted the "Jay Z’s Life+Times “The Internship” Contest." To enter, participants "liked" Jay Z's Life+Times Facebook Page, registered online and submitted an essay in no more than 250 words, describing why he or she should be the Jay Z Life+Times intern. Contestants could also submit an original YouTube video to further describe why they should be chosen. One grand prize winner was chosen from all submission. The prize included a 7-day/6-night trip for the winner to New York to become an intern for one week at Jay Z's Life+Times. The unpaid internship ran from June 3, 2013 through June 7, 2013.
