Lionsgate partnered with Gibson, famed manufacturer of guitars, to promote the release of the action-packed movie THE PROTEGE.

To celebrate the release of THE PROTEGE, Lionsgate collaborated with Gibson on the Ultimate Gibson Experience Sweepstakes. Fans could go online and submit their information for the chance to win a 3-day trip for two to the Gibson Factory and Garage in Nashville Tennesse along with a replica of the Gibson guitar featured in the movie.

In addition to the sweepstakes element of the partnership, a Gibson '58 Flying V guitar was featured prominently in the film itself.
