Each package featured one free character collectible, including Max, Duke, Snowball, Chloe, Gidget and Buddy, and fans could collect all six. The company also hosted an exclusive Pets-Only Movie Experience on June 28, 2016 in Chicago. The partnership was promoted online and via a TV spot.
