Description:

Sony Pictures Entertainment teamed up with the U.S. Forest Service for the theatrical release of THE SMURFS 2. The U.S. Forest Service launched a series of public service announcements that featured characters and footage from the film. A Discover the Forest campaign was also launched and featured the film with an event at The Grove in Los Angeles and was a part of Sony Pictures' "America the Bluetiful" initiative which was a nationwide tour where the Smurfs aimed to "bluefity" America through a series of environmentally friendly activities. THE SMURFS 2 was also featured on Discover the Forest's website www.discovertheforest.org and included videos and printable activity sheets.
