Summit Entertainment teamed up with Burger King once again to promote THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE. The marketing campaign included premiums, in-store contests, and TV spots. The in-store game consisted of scratch offs which represented the rivalry between the characters Edward and Jacob. Prizes included $100,000, a 2011 Volvo XC60, a Vespa LX 50 4V, THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE Ultimate Experience, and free movie tickets for an entire year from Fandango. Customers who upgraded their BK Value Meal received two game pieces each with an image of a character from THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE. Fans were also able to visit www.bkeclipse.com where the site gave visitors the option to have their Facebook’s analyzed to determine which side they were likely to team with. The promotion ran during summer 2010.
