Description:

TikTok partnered with UNICEF for a promotional campaign celebrating special moments during the holiday season.

The partnership consisted of the short-form mobile video platoform collaborating with UNICEF to invite TikTok users to show their support for UNICEF by creating videos with the hashtag #TikTokTraditions. As part of the partnership, TikTok unveiled a special UNICEF greeting card filter along with a suite of holiday-inspired effects. Users shared videos of their holiday traditions such as exchanging gifts, family dinners or watching a beloved film.

Soccer superstar David Beckham was brought onboard as a promotional brand ambassador for the partnership, featuring in a launch video for the collaboration.

The partnership also included TikTok committing $1.5 million in support of UNICEF's work which includes providing more than 11 million polo vaccines, 5 million exercise books, mosquito nets and more.
