Description:

Social media mega-brand TikTok partnered with the mobile recipe app Whisk to embed recipe links in TikTok creators content for users to view and save.

The partnership stemmed from TikTok users wanting to save recipes that creators were "showing off" in their content. With the partnership in place, a new "recipe" button was overlaid on food related TikTok videos. The feature called users to action by clicking the link to take users to Whisk's site to view the recipe. 

The partnership made TikTok more actionable and also encouraged viewers not just to watch the vide, but save the content for later use. The Whisk recipe link was easy for creators to embedd in their TikTok's as well, with options to choose a recipe from Whisk's catelog or to make your own.

TikTok and Whisk also identifies several food content creators to help serve as the first adopters of the new functionality. The partnership between the two brands helped TikTok increased actionable content while also increasing traffic on Whisk's app.
