Description:
Lionsgate Entertainment partnered with Spotify to promote the theatrical release of UNCLE DREW. The promotion consisted of the creation of a Spotify playlist that played up the old school vs. new school rivalry present in the film. This branded Spotify experience was called "The Battle of the Ages" and allowed users to connect their Spotify accounts to determine whether they are an "OG" or "Youngblood" based on their music listening habits. Depending on the characteristics of their musical tastes, users were directed to a custom "OG" or a "Youngblood" playlist for their listening pleasure featuring music from both legendary artists (ie. 2Pac, Nas) as well as current hitmakers (ie. Cardi B, The Weeknd).
