Walt Disney Studios teamed up with sparkling water brand Sanzo on a promotion celebrating the release of RAYA AND THE LAST DRAGON.
The partnership played on the important motif of Water which is emphasized throughout the movie. Disney collaborated with the first Asian American inspired sparkling water, Sanzo, started by Filipino American Sandro Rocco to celebrate the movie.
The partnership focused on Sanzo's Calamansi flavored water, a tart citrus fruit native to the Philippines and other parts of Southeast Asia. The partnership with RAYA AND THE LAST DRAGON included a custom TV spot, social media promtion, and a takeover of the beverage’s website by RAYA.
