DreamWorks Animation SKG and Wrigley teamed up to promote the theatrical release of MONSTERS VS. ALIENS with a sweepstakes and Instant Win game. Contestants between the ages of 6 and 16 only could enter the sweepstakes online at www.hubbabubba.com. One Grand Prize winner received a two-night trip for five to San Francisco, CA. For the Instant Win Game, contestants entered the promo code from specially-marked MONSTERS VS. ALIENS packages of Hubba Bubba chewing gum into the website. 200 First Prize winners received a six-foot movie wall poster. 10,000 Second Prize winners received a digital wallpaper download. The promotion ran from February 15 through June 30, 2009.
