DreamWorks Home Entertainment and Best Buy teamed up to promote the DVD release of SHREK THE THIRD on November 13, 2007. With purchase of any version of the DVD, consumers received free M&M''s. With purchase of any SHREK THE THIRD DVD and any SHREK THE THIRD video game, consumers received a free $10 Best Buy gift card. Best Buy also offered an exclusive SHREK THE THIRD gift set including a hat, 2008 calendar, pennant, bumper sticker, cell phone stickers, and widescreen DVD. With any purchase, Best Buy offered a free "Shrek-tastic" HP activity disk. With any purchase of a DreamWorks Animation DVD (such as Over the Hedge or Flushed Away), consumers received a free SHREK THE THIRD activity book.
