DreamWorks Home Entertainment and Kellogg’s teamed up to promote the DVD release of SHREK THE THIRD on November 13, 2007. Using 5 Kellogg’s tokens, consumers could mail in for a free, green knit hat. Kellogg’s also promoted SHREK THE THIRD in general with additional offers. Inside specially marked cereal boxes, consumers could find a Shrek “kNight light.” Using tokens and UPC symbols found on Kellogg’s food packaging, consumers could purchase a Shrek-themed “Surf''s Up in the Swamp” inflatable Boogie Board, a cereal bowl, a soccer ball, a drinking straw, a helmet hat, and talking key chains.
