Paramount Pictures and Kellogg's teamed up to promote the theatrical release of STAR TREK with various on-package offers. Kellogg's offered a STAR TREK Beam-Up Badge with special insignia and power beam inside specially marked boxes of Corn Pops, Frosted Flakes, Apple Jacks, Frosted Mini Wheats, Froot Loops and Rice Krispies cereals. There were five different badges available and the offer lasted through June 30, 2010 or while supplies last. Kellogg's ran a mail-in offer for a STAR TREK plate. Consumers sent in a completed order form, 2 STAR TREK tokens from specially-marked packages of Eggo waffles and a $3.99 check or money order for shipping and handling in exchange for the plate. The offer was valid while supplies last. Kellogg's ran a tee shirt mail-in offer. Consumers sent a completed order form, 9 STAR TREK tokens from specially-marked packages of cereal and Cheez-Its or 1 STAR TREK token and a $9.99 check or money order. The offer was valid through June 30, 2010 or while supplies last. Kellogg's also ran a mail-in offer for a free movie ticket. Consumers sent in a completed order form and 5 STAR TREK vouchers from specially-marked packages of Pop Tarts in exchange for a movie ticket. The offer was valid while supplies last.
