Universal Music Group and Brands’ Republic Records and Kellogg’s partnered to celebrate National Cereal Day with an exclusive cereal-themed extravaganza and midnight countdown the night before at Kellogg’s NYC Café with Hailee Steinfeld. In honor of the occasion, the party featured an exclusive celebration menu with new items that payed homage to everyone’s favorite breakfast staple. The spread of cereal-infused cocktails/mocktails, celebration bowls and small bites – which could also be made and enjoyed by people at home – took partygoers from late night eats to breakfast treats as they counted down to National Cereal Day. Consumers could visit a microsite for recipes and inspiration on how to stir up their own unique cereal creations at home.

In addition to the cereal-centric menu, award-winning actress, artist and self-proclaimed cereal lover Hailee Steinfeld hosted the countdown party with a cereal-themed performance of her latest hits. The first 1,000 celebration participants who purchased a bowl also received a free box of cereal.
