Macy's partnered with Facebook to bring ecommerce brands in store for the holidays as part of the Market @ Macy's initiative. The Market @ Macy's was an in-store pop-up marketplace that featured rotating collections of newer and established brands. The partnership brought 150 ecommerce brands Facebook was connected with to nine high-traffic Macy's stores over the course of the 2018-2019 holiday season. Macy’s shoppers had the chance to meet businesses such as Love Your Melon that sells hats and apparel to help in the fight against pediatric cancer, or Charleston Gourmet Burger Company that started from a backyard barbeque and has expanded to reach customers in all 50 states.
