Kellogg's partnered with Major League Soccer for a partnership running through 2020.
The partnership had Kellogg's products serving as the league's snacks. Cheez-It and Pringles were made the official snacks of Major League Soccer. The official waffle of MLS was Kellogg's Eggo.
The promotion extended to esports with Kellogg's becoming a core partner of eMLS, Major League Soccer's competitive EA Sports FIFA 19 league. Cheez-It and Pringles were the presenting partners of the eMLS Player Lounge. Cheez-It and Pringles also presented the 2019 eMLS Player Profiles which was a digital series that highlighted competitors' personal stories.
This partnership was promoted with content across digital and social media channels. It also was supported by video and content brand integration, in-stadium exposure, on-site activation at events.
Kellogg's and Major League Soccer also teamed for a sweepstakes in which fans had the chance to win a trip for two to the 2019 MLS All-Star Week in Orlando. In addition that that top prize, several other prizes were offered through the sweepstakes.
