Warner Bros. and Xbox teamed up with non-profit organization Cxmmunity to promote the release of SPACE JAM: A NEW LEGACY!

Cxmmunity selected over 50 historically black colleges and universities (HBCU) schools to receive a SPACE JAM: A NEW LEGACY-themed limited-edition Xbox kits and controllers donated by Xbox for their on-campus gaming labs. Cxmmunity will also help schools build gaming and esports labs on campus to help advance student life and opportunities on a collegiate level and diversity the esports community.

Cxmmunity will also host an exclusive screening of SPACE JAM: A NEW LEGACY for HBCU students and alumni in Atlanta.

Xbox also held an HBCU esports showdown in Atlanta on July 1st, with students from prestigious HBCUs competing against each other playing the new SPACE JAM: A NEW LEGACY video game in hopes of taking home prizing including a custom gold Xbox controller signed by Bugs Bunny. Winners were flown out to Los Angeles to attend the SPACE JAM: A NEW LEGACY world premiere and compete in the HBCU esports showdown finals in front of fans.
