The Kids Mental Health Foundation partnered with Wonder Project to promote the series premiere of IT'S NOT LIKE THAT. Together, they shared valuable, expert-created mental health resources inspired by the themes of explored in the new series, premiering January 25th on Wonder Project via Amazon.
IT'S NOT LIKE THAT follows the story of Malcolm (Scott Foley), a recently-widowed pastor and father of three, and Lori (Erinn Hayes), a freshly-divorced mom of two teens. Their families once did everything together, but now Lori and Malcolm must navigate their newly minted singledom, parenthood and the complexities of Malcolm being a modern-day pastor.
It's a beautiful show with a ton of heart, intentionally navigating the complexities of life, love, and loss. And to give families the best tools to have meaningful discussions around these topics, Dr. Ariana Hoet has created a resource guide to help families have these conversations based on the themes of each episode. You'll even see a call to action at the end of a few of the episodes that speak to children's mental well-being directly.
