4K Media and Crunchyroll teamed up for a sweepstakes to celebrate the U.S. theatrical release of YU-GI-OH!: THE DARK SIDE OF DIMENSIONS. From December 7 – December 16, 2016, fans had the opportunity to win a trip to New York to attend the January 24, 2017 premiere. Participants could enter by tweeting an answer to the question “What is your favorite Duel Monster?” and adding the hashtag #ygonyc. One grand prize winner received tickets to the premiere, airfare and hotel accommodations for a two-night stay in New York for themselves and a guest, as well as $500 spending money. Three other fans were selected to win three Magician Girl figurines from Kotobukiya.
