Together with partners and supporters, they are tapping their experience, network, and local relationships to help communities rise up stronger than ever. Funds raised will support United Way’s disaster programs, including hurricane relief for people, families and communities where they’re needed most. United Ways on the ground are working across sectors to assess the critical needs and mobilize resources to help those in need. In the wake of the destruction of Hurricanes Helene and Milton, lives have been lost, entire towns have been submerged, and homes and businesses destroyed. In more than 250 communities across the Southeast, United Ways are harnessing collective action, leading disaster relief work, and delivering resources and supplies to people and families who have lost everything. With a mission focused on mobilizing the caring power of communities to advance the common good, we’re committed to the long-term recovery of these impacted communities.
