Description

Written and produced by Michael Hirst, this series is an epic romantic adventure based of the life of famous American outlaw Billy the Kid (Tom Bythe), also known as William H. Bonney – from his humble Irish roots to his early days as a cowboy and gunslinger in the American frontier, to his pivotal role in the Lincoln County War and beyond.

As a teenager, Billy the Kid meets Jesse Evans, who will be played by Daniel Webber (The Dirt, Escape From Pretoria). Evans is the leader of the Seven Rivers Gang and has embraced a life of crime including robbing stores and cattle rustling. Billy is attracted to his wild and reckless character.
