The challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic are unprecedented and Ys are responding in a variety of ways to meet community need. Amid school closures and economic uncertainty, a rapidly increasing number of people are facing food insecurity. In response, hundreds of Ys nationwide are providing free grab-and-go meals to help address this serious issue.

More than 800 Ys and 1,000 Y-affiliated food distribution sites are providing meals to those most at risk of going hungry. Below are a few examples of how Ys are making a difference nationwide.
