Crayola, the leading children’s creativity brand, announced today it is actively seeking partners around the world to expand its innovative global education initiative, Crayola Creativity Week. The brand is looking to collaborate and extend the outreach for the Jan. 27 through Feb. 2, 2025 worldwide event. This exciting week-long program is designed to help children understand the importance of creativity. The program helps educators use creativity across the curriculum to enrich learning and boost creative confidence. Creativity Week lies at the heart of Crayola’s mission to celebrate and nurture children’s creativity. The innovative programming—which the brand provides at no charge—engages educators and kids with hands-on learning, and introduces them to inspiring authors, illustrators, entrepreneurs, astronauts, musicians, and athletes, who all explain the role creativity has played in their lives. The three-year-old initiative has grown by 205% percent since its debut in 2022. This year, 405,000 teachers from 100 countries participated in Crayola Creativity Week and more than 6 million students were immersed in unique educational experiences, including daily celebrity videos, literacy experiences, and creative challenges. “Our growth strategy for Creativity Week includes extending our reach both domestically and internationally,” said Victoria Lozano, Executive Vice President, Marketing at Crayola. “Now is a pivotal moment to join this rapidly growing program that boosts learning with creativity and helps kids reach their full potential. Our strong brand equity positions Crayola and our partners to create unique new content and experiences together.” The program’s downloadable resources align with the education standards in 15 countries and are translated into eight languages. These help teachers empower students to bring creativity to every subject area, from literacy to math and science as well as social and emotional learning.  Schools gather entire learning communities together to enjoy the culminating assembly and showcase the weeks’ worth of hands-on experiences as educators and students celebrate creativity. This year, more than 10,000 pieces of artwork were shared on social media. “Crayola Creativity Week provides children with tools to express their thoughts and imagination and inspires innovative thinking while helping kids develop lifelong creative mindsets.” said Cheri Sterman, Senior Director of Education at Crayola. “It's part of a larger brand initiative to support childhood creativity and help educators and parents celebrate more creative moments with children.”
