A modern take on the infamous tales of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, BBC’s version of Sherlock Holmes utilizes modern technology to enable Sherlock to solve crimes. Sherlock Homes, played by Benedict Cumberbatch from Star Trek: Into the Darkness, and Dr. James Watson, played by The Hobbit’s Martin Freeman, come together to solve crimes. Throughout the series, the conflict between Holmes and his arch enemy, Jim Moriarty, is evident in the series. His faithful assistant, Dr. James Watson, resides within his flat.
