The U.S. Surgeon General has declared vaping an “epidemic.” Now is the time to protect our children from a lifetime of nicotine addiction and associated health risks by immediately addressing youth e-cigarette use. The American Lung Association is committed to creating a tobacco-free future and ending the youth vaping epidemic. To help schools navigate this public health threat with tools to protect and support students impacted by vaping, we are calling on all schools nationwide to become a Recognized Member of the American Lung Association Vape-Free Schools Initiative. But we can’t end the epidemic without the support of our partners.

We are looking for partners to:

• Provide financial support to scale the initiative nationwide
• Help with NOT and INDEPTH facilitator recruitment (digital marketing, print media)
• Support comprehensive reporting and data analysis
• Donate in-kind marketing resources to educate more teachers, parents and students about the initiative
• Identify people in their personal and professional network who may benefit from the Vape-Free Schools Initiative
