20th Century Fox teamed up with Dole to promote the theatrical release of ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS: CHIPWRECKED. Dole placed CHIPWRECKED branded stickers on bananas at retail where consumers could scan custom QR codes and receive a CHIPWRECKED inspired ringtone. Everyday there was a different ringtone offered at the CHIPWRECKED branded website. This promotion ran during Q4-2011.
