Amazon Pets and Amazon’s Treasure Truck celebrated Adopt a Shelter Dog Month in collaboration with the ASPCA! Throughout the month of October 2019, the ASPCA was featured on an Adopt a Shelter Dog Month web page on Amazon that highlighted stories of ASPCA rescue dogs, their tips on the importance of adoption, their Charity Lists, exclusive merchandise through their Amazon store, information about Amazon’s Treasure Truck adoption events and more!

Amazon’s Treasure Truck is a rolling, immersive shopping experience with “must-have products” suggested by Amazon. Throughout October, Amazon’s Treasure Truck partnered with animal welfare organizations across the country to support adoption events and promote the message of Adopt a Shelter Dog Month. 

The month capped off with a collaboration alongside Amazon’s Treasure Truck for their Boneyard Bash on Halloween in New York City. The family-friendly event took place at Domino Park in Brooklyn and was filled with dog-friendly activities, interactive photo opportunities, giveaways and much more! The Mobile Adoptions team was also on-site with adorable adoptable puppies, and ASPCA staff were available to answer questions and provide important resources about pet adoption and pet care.
