LG Mobile Phones partnered up with 20th Century Fox and Lightstorm Entertainment for the much anticipated film AVATAR. LG Mobile Phones created a TV advertisement which involved footage from the film AVATAR being projected from the LG eXpo, a smartphone that features a detachable mobile projector. The commercial began airing on national TV on December 7, 2009. LG also launched an interactive micro site on December 3, 2009, www.lgexpo.com, which included exclusive details regarding the movie. In addition, LG Mobile Phones developed a joint Facebook page between FOX and MTV.
