Warner Bros. Pictures partnered with Burger King for a promotion that celebrated the release of BIRDS OF PREY (AND THE FANTABULOUS EMANCIPATION OF ONE HARLEY QUINN) in theaters.
Warner Bros. collaborated with Burger King on an "anti-Valentine's Day" promotion in which fans could bring a physical photo of an ex-flame into select Burger locations, drop it in a BIRDS OF PREY-themed breakup box and then receive a free Whopper.
The promotion took place on February 14, 2020, in Burger King locations in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Boston.
New York locations also accepted love letters and romantic gifts in exchange for the free Whopper offer. Beginning February 6, 2020, one location in New York was decorated in the style of Harley Quinn which Burger King encouraged fans to share via social media using the hashtag #BurgerQuinn.
Fans who were not near one of the select locations could complete a quiz on the Burger King app and, if they got 4 out of 5 questions correct, they received a coupon for a $3 Whopper.
