Description:
The Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and The Kroger Co. partnered to promote the non-profit organization through a pink pink tag campaign in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness. The grocery chain displayed pink tags on select products in stores nationwide. Each time customers bought a pink-tagged item during the campaign, they helped support breast cancer research and awareness. Participating products include Kellogg's Eggo, Keebler and Sunshine items, Coca-Cola's Powerade and Minute Maid brands and Breyers, Ragu and Wishbone products under the Unilever umbrella. The campaign began October 1, 2006 and hoped to raise $3 million towards breast cancer research.
