City of Hope was selected as one of four national charities benefiting from FOX Sports Supports in 2009. As the exclusive FOX Sports Supports charity during the 2009 NFL on FOX season, City of Hope received numerous on-air mentions during NFL broadcasts. These messages reached more than 150 million people. In addition to the game-time coverage, public service announcements promoting City of Hope and featuring FOX Sports talent making an appeal to support the institution, ran nationally on FOX news, sports and entertainment stations. City of Hope was also prominently featured on the FOX Sports Supports Web site throughout the season.
